About Me

My photo
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in June 2009. I began my wonderful career teaching first grade shortly thereafter, in August 2009. In June 2016, I completed my Masters with the focus in Reading grades K-6th. This will be my 14th year utilizing a blog and hope that it will provide parents with another avenue to view their child's accomplishments throughout the school year.

Being Flexible

The three days we were back from fall break presented us with some unique changes to our daily schedule. I'm so proud of our class for adjusting to these changes like champs! Here are some photos from our few days back from break:

Quick Post

I, unfortunately, didn't get many photos from our week leading up to break. We did have a busy time completing assessments before the end of the quarter, but squeezed in fun as well. Here are a few photos I managed to capture:

How lucky are we to have such a gorgeous view?

October Fun!

The first week of October started of with lots of fun! We sorted shapes, spelled short vowel words using letters tiles, and took a long route for recess to notice the gorgeous signs of fall! Here are some photos from that week:
