It Takes a Village

As I look back at the photos from last week, one thing stands out the most:  wonderful volunteers!  We had a dad come in to share German holiday traditions, my daughter came in to help with our first on-line end-of-the unit assessment, a teacher helping the conductor, and many parent volunteers during Polar Express Day.  It is so refreshing to know how many people contribute to the success of our students!  We thank you!!!  Here are some photos from our wonderful week:

Grinch Day and More!

What a week we had in room 105!  We planned, then wrote a letter to Santa, made a Santa craft, filled out our passports, colored the flags of the countries we'll visit in the upcoming weeks, made holiday cards for 30 different schools around the country, had Grinch Day, AND squeezed in our daily reading/writing and Math lessons!  Whew, I'm tired just typing it all. :)
