About Me

My photo
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in June 2009. I began my wonderful career teaching first grade shortly thereafter, in August 2009. In June 2016, I completed my Masters with the focus in Reading grades K-6th grade. This will be my seventh year utilizing a blog and hope that it will provide parents with another avenue to view their child's accomplishments throughout the school year.

Music & Technology

This past week, our wonderful PTO sponsored a fun Music & Technology assembly!  We also practiced counting and double checking as well as how to determine an area of a space.  Last, we read about the day in the life of Pilgrim girls and boys.  Here are some photos from our week:

Happy November!

The weather as of late certainly does not resemble November, but I am not complaining!  This past week we discussed the importance of Election Day, began preparing for Veterans Day, and started subtraction.  Here are some photos from our week:

How lucky am I? :)
