About Me

My photo
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in June 2009. I began my wonderful career teaching first grade shortly thereafter, in August 2009. In June 2016, I completed my Masters with the focus in Reading grades K-6th grade. This will be my seventh year utilizing a blog and hope that it will provide parents with another avenue to view their child's accomplishments throughout the school year.

Marvelous Mathematicians

This past week we've been working with the number 10.  One game that the students really seemed to enjoy was called Tens Plus.  We do so many great things throughout the week and it seems as if I get so wrapped up with what we are doing, I'm forgetting to take photos...  So, here are the photos that I've remembered to take this past week:

We are so grateful for the additional Chrome Books the PTO donated to our classroom!
We are also thankful for my husband, Scott, who built the wonderful Chrome Book Cart for us!

What's Hatching?

We had a great week learning all about chicks!  We also had a great time learning about our solar system.  Here are some photos from our week:

I really wish I was able to take more photos.  It was such a great event!

Go Reds!

What a great way to start off our week with a Reds win on opening day!  Here's to hoping for a great season!  We had a wonderful week back; unfortunately, I got so wrapped up with everything we were doing, I kept forgetting to get photos...  I did manage to remember a few times, so here are a few photos from our past week:
