I feel like I need to start my post with a huge WHO DEY!
Whew, I feel better now. ;) Hopefully, everyone is enjoying their holiday break. It has been great to spend some quality time with family and friends!
We certainly had a lot of fun the week before break. Here are a few photos from our week:

Our flexibility has really been tested these past two weeks...2 snow days, 2 days of partial power outage, 2 rescheduled Santa Shop days, and an assembly scheduled on Polar Express Day! Our class, of course, took it all in stride. We had such a great time making up some of our Grinch Day as well as participating in All Aboard the Polar Express. Here a some photos from our week:
I was so excited about getting to do at least some of the things I had planned for Grinch Day, I forgot to take photos until the very end of the day.
So lucky to be a part of such a great team! :)
All Aboard the Polar Express
We were so grateful to have the conductor visit our school to punch our tickets
and then read the story The Polar Express to us!
Oh, how I love wearing pjs & slippers all day!
Love this pose!
We made a book, Five Silver Bells.
We received a gift straight from the North Pole...
Maybe we should have done a survey ~
Which do you like better, drinking hot chocolate or ringing your bell from Santa?
Thank you to all of the parents who donated their time and/or items for Polar Express!

Now that we have turned our calendar to December, we all better hold on tight because we have so much to do! Even a partial power outage (for almost two full days) and a snow day this past week didn't slow us down! Here are some photos from our week:
Coloring Flags for Our Suitcases and Preparing Our Passports
We began our travels this week as we learn about how other countries celebrate Christmas. Our students visited with Mrs. DeLotell as they learned about Mexico and also visited Mrs. Cramer as they learned about Australia.
Making Christmas Cards
We made 30 Christmas cards that will be sent all over country to classrooms ranging in grades preK-6th. We will begin receiving our cards from these same classrooms throughout the next two weeks. We are so excited to read them all!
We wrote a letter to Santa, making sure we included an opening sentence, a list of what we wanted for Christmas, and a closing sentence.
I hope everyone enjoyed their snow day yesterday! Be safe this weekend!
